Are you an artist, programmer, musician, electrical engineer, animator, roboticist, game developer, or otherwise artistic or technically minded individual?
Then you may be interested in the demoscene, an electronic art subculture.
Although the scene has historically been centered around demos, or realtime rendered generally noninteractive demonstrations of musical, programming, and artistic prowess, for many years it has been open to all kinds of explorations of the symbosis of art and technology.
At this event, we will give a short overview of the demoscene, show you some notable scene productions, screen a short documentary on the formation of the Russian demogroup Quite, and let you know a bit about the event we'll be running in the Fort Point area of Boston this June.
Come learn what the scene has to offer you . . .
